Will the standard of education go down if the quota system is implemented without any quality checks?

The Supreme Court today said reservation in educational institutions and jobs for the backward class is hard reality and students of general category should understand it.

"We know what students (of general category) feel. We understand their blood boils when they see students (of reserved class) having less marks are getting admission but they should know that reservation is the hard reality. They should understand it. We cannot treat unequals as equal," a bench of justices R V Raveendran and A K Patnaik said.

The bench, which made the remarks, referred the matter to Chief Justice of India S H Kapadia for constituting an appropriate bench to sort out the confusion on the use of term cut-off in the law which upheld the 27 per cent quota for OBC in central educational institutions.

The remarks were made by the bench when a lawyer for anti-quota group pleaded that the standard of education will go down if the quota system is implemented blindly without any check on the quality of students admitted in the reserved category.

The court was hearing the issues pertaining to discrepancies in implementation of 27 per cent quota for OBC in central universities, the law for which was upheld by its constitution bench on April 10, 2008.

The two-judge bench was to sort out the confusion on the issue of cut-off marks to be adopted for admission of OBC candidates.

It was dwelling on whether the cut-off marks for OBC should be only 10 per cent less than the marks on which the admission closed for general category candidates or it should not be less than 10 per cent of the eligibility criteria.

Hang Ajmal Kasab: The Nations Culprit

Some people are in a view that day when Mumbai faced 3 serial blast once again, was not the B'day of AJMAL KASAB...

I want to ask our home minister and president of India who is not replying on the mercy petition of Kasab, by utilizing her pocket Veto power, that you really want the neighboring nation to repeat those Bomb blast once again on his birthday...

Please Mrs. Prathibha Patil, my nations first resident, Reject Mercy Petition of Kasab and hang him.

Its a high time the people of India are waiting for the justice. Or else those days are not far away when someone like in movie Wednesday, seriously takes action in place of government.

New Rupee Symbol On Keyboard

Last year new rupee symbol had been launched – but it was very difficult for online users to use this symbol as there was no dedicated key which was given to the Rupee symbol as it is in case of the Dollar, Euro or the Pound. They had to use a workaround for Rupee symbol to show up on the browser.

Alternatively, there was also a rupee symbol font which was released by Foradian Technologies, that made it possible to use Rupee Font in desktop documents.
image5 New Rupee Symbol can soon be directly typed using a Keyboard!
But, very soon users can simply type the Rupee symbol using normal computer keyboard. According to announcement by government today, The Indian Rupee symbol can now directly be typed on the keyboard using“Alt Gr” + “4” keys together. We are lucky to be living in this day and age – Technology has positively affected our lives more than any other previous generations.

Being put in the friend zone by a girl can be an extremely frustrating experience for you. After all you put in all this work to act pleasant to the ladies, take her out for dinner, compliment her, are always there to help, yet in the end all she wants to do is be friends. A situation like this will make you indignant and annoyed when it comes to dating girls. Most fellows think when they get put in the friend zone it is for life as it is mostly really tough to change a girls mind if she places you into that sector.

Everybody has been thru this situation one or more times : Being put in the friend zone is nothing to feel embarrassed about, though having your hopes crushed can be quite depressing.

Overtly , it can be worse than getting flat out rejected. The sole reason you are in the friend zone now is often because you weren't ready to raise the level of her attraction to you. It does not mean that it can not be done, you have just didn't do it to this point. A lot of so-called experts say, that once you are in the friend zone, you are condemned there till death. I definitely do not agree with that opinion.

I've been there and I am trying to escape!

Turning a friend into boy/gal friend

Its something which happens a lot with a individual. Maybe some people say its childish but its the fact that almost every girl/boy finds him/her self in this situation sooner or later: There is guy/gal you've been friends with for months, and you have developed a huge crush on him. You get along great, and you spend a lot of time together. Sometimes you think he's/she's into you; his/her teasing seems a little flirtatious, and he/she texts you a lot. You are interested in finding out if you can take the relationship beyond friendship, but how do you escape Friend Zone?

There are a lot of reasons why this might be awkward. You have probably listened to some of his relationship problems, and shared some of yours. You may have told him/her things that you wouldn't tell someone you had just started dating. There are some ways in which you may have accidentally made him/her think that you just want to be friends.

On the one hand, this is fantastic! He/she already knows you, and knows a lot of the weird stuff that it would usually take you a long time to share with a boy/gal friend. If this works, it could work really, really well. Here are a few ways you might start hinting that you want to be more than friends:

Be flirtatious. You already have the playful teasing thing going. Be a little more coy. Draw him/her in and make him/her think. You will be surprised how much you can communicate with your eyes.

Be yourself. As much as you want to make this happen, don't do anything that is too out of character for you. You want him/her to like you, not some person that you invent to try and win him/her.

Touch him/her a little more. This does not mean that you should hang all over him/her. But try touching his/her arm now and then, or holding on for a few extra seconds before pulling out of a hug. You can gauge his/her reaction, and it may tell you what your chances are.

Just ask him! This is the scariest of all the options, because you are making yourself vulnerable. But if his/her answer is no, this will save you a lot of time and torture. And if his/her answer is yes, then you'll know right away!

Not every couple can escape Friend Zone, but lots of them do. Don't be afraid to try! If this one doesn't work, then try again with another person.

But don't try any of the above just for the purpose of time-pass, because it hurts a lot, when you break someone's heart. Its just like breaking a glass, when you break it your hand also bleeds.
